Wat is Gebiedsverovering

Ouderwets landjepik is nog steeds een mechanisme dat in veel spellen wordt toegepast. Om te winnen, moet je een bepaald aantal gebieden op een kaart veroveren op je tegenstanders. Dat kan met legers opbouwen en heel veel dobbelstenen gooien om te bepalen wie er wint, zoals bij Risk. Maar op andere manieren kan het ook, zoals met kaarten. Veel spellen met miniatures erin en oorlogsspellen vallen onder deze noemer, maar lang niet allemaal.
